Exceptional Moms

LKN Exceptional Moms is a group of proud and enthusiastic parents of children, teens & young adults with special needs in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina

(Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville and Mooresville, NC)

One of our goals is to help build and preserve a sense of community among families in our area who are caring for children with special needs. Through the "Exceptional Moms" we provide a support system for these families as well as a platform for moms (dads too!) to use their passions, talents and hard earned experience and knowledge for the greater good. We currently do this via the following:

- Email Resource Sharing
- Facebook Group
- Yoga Meet-Ups (deeply-relaxing & stress-relieving Restorative Yoga & Nidra)

Beginning in the Fall of 2019, all other Exceptional Moms Meet-Ups (coffees, info-sessions) will be headed up by Elizabeth Hobson. We are very excited that she has agreed to carry this torch!
