Breathtaking might not be the first word that comes to mind upon seeing 50 motorcyles ride into your town but this is exactly how Simona describes it after seeing this incredible group of Romanian men and women ride up to House of Angels bearing toys, clothes, sweets and even a bouncy house!!!

Simona continues... "All 50 motorcycles entered the HOA yard honking all at once. The kids had never seen so many motorcycles together and real riders. After giving them presents, each child got a ride on the motorcycle each chose. Their happiness was total. We invited them inside HOA where they had tea and coffee and left their handprints on HOA's walls, also signing their names. When they left, the kids saluted each of them by screaming "come back again" and waving hands."

How is that for a bunch of heros?!

Little Miracles, Int'l, a 501-c3 organization and a devout supporter of numerous charities, has been a long time supporter of House of Angels. We are pleased to announce that we have recently joined forces with Little Miracles who will now be handling all accounting and record keeping for us. We are very excited about our new venture with them as it will free up our time to devote to fund-raising and making the services we offer bigger, better and available to more and more children. From now on, all donations checks need to be made to "Little Miracles" and earmarked for "House of Angels" and any associated "Operation". Little Miracles takes no administrative costs for this service so 100% of all donations will still go directly to House of Angels. We are greatly appreciative to Little Miracles for offering these services to us and we look forward to working with them.

For Christmas 2007, we sent over stockings to be filled for all the kids. What a wonderful Christmas our supporters provided for all the angels. The kids pulled Santa into the house where they recited poems, sang songs and of course sat on Santa's lap and received their special gifts. It was a most wonderful day! Thank you to everyone who made this day possible.

On September 14th, 2007, the kids at House of Angels had a most fabulous when we received bears upon bears, backpacks upon backpacks and supplies upon supplies!!! The day began like any other day but was soon transformed into one of our most magical ever!

Every year, during their Stuffed with Hugs campaign, the wonderful folks at Build-A-Bear Workshop open their shops to anyone willing to stuff a bear with love and hugs to be sent all over the world to kids in need. This year more than 400 children in Norway and Sweden showed up to help stuff bears with hugs for House of Angels! To all the folks at Build-A-Bear Workshop and all of the children who took time out of their day to help stuff bears for our angels... we are truly grateful.

We were blessed with so many bears that we shared some with our local hospital and the orhpanage for the disabled next door.

While the kids in Denmark and Sweden were busy stuffing bears, we were busy collecting money in order to surprise our angels with new backpacks and school supplies for their upcoming school year. Our supporters are amazing... giving more than $1200 to make this dream come true!!!

This day was a most amazing day for our angels. Thanks again to everyone who played a role in making this day happen.

In October of 2006 we collected toys for all of our angels. The packages have safely arrive in Romania and we had a fantastic Christmas celebration! Thanks to everyone who participated and helped to make this the most wonderful Christmas ever!

Because of the new laws which took effect January 2005, we are no longer allowed to care for children under the age of two. So, in September of 2006 we had our grand re-opening as an after school program and physical therapy center for children in desperate need of help.

The month of May brought a very special day with it to House of Angels. Seventeen children were baptized from age 6 to 14 months. It was a great baptism. The kids had all the attention and they were very happy! Many Godparents, friends of HoA, attended and bought clothes and toys and even gold rings for the little baby girls. The Godparents also gave each child one of their names and decided to help these kids in the future too! They want to take “their” babies home with them during weekends and spend some time with them. This is indeed great news for these children and we are very grateful for this community support!

Therapeutic toys donated by by Integrative Therapy Concepts in Mooresville, NC with Timberline, Corp. paying for the shipping, finally arrived at HoA. We are thrilled to have them here and want to thank everyone at ITC and Timberline, Corp. who was involved in getting us these much needed items, especially Kelly Gianopoulos for her big,  BIG heart. THANK YOU!
